Quality Thin Films is a recognized leader in producing sophisticated high damage threshold laser crystal coatings for both new and repolished crystals. Since 1999 our laser crystal polishing operation has an outstanding reputation for turnaround time on reworked crystals. Our total control crystal operation provides more repeatable finishes coatings, minimizing scatter, absorption, and adhesion problems.
QTF has improved and expanded its optical fabrication department adding new equipment and handling a wider array of substrates. Controlling the entire process from substrate to finished coated optic helps maintain QTF quality standards. The QTF expertise includes polishing crystals to fabrication of laser optics and prisms, QTF’s crystal polishing operation insures the reliabiity of its highest damage threshold coatings while minimizing scatter, absorption, and adhesion issues.
