| QTF Precision Thin Film Coating |
|
Quality Thin Films is widely recognized for its superior precision thin film coating expertise from the near UV to far Infrared. QTF specializes in low loss, severe abrasion, high damage threshold coatings of non-linear materials, optical parametric oscillators and amplifiers, reflectors, complex dual, triple and broad-band AR coatings, dichroics, narrow band filters, output couplers, beam splitters and transparent IR (Oxide) coatings.
QTF high power laser damage coatings of laser crystals sets the industry standard as does our proprietary Enhanced Ion Assisted Deposition (IAD) process. Our wavelength capabilities are UV248.266 and 355nm, Laser (Diode pumped, Doublers & Triplers), Eye Safe, 1 & 2 /Micron pumped, Mid IR 3-5um and Far IR 8-12um. We consistently produce the highest laser damage thresholds.

| Optical Component Fabrication |
|
QTF has improved and expanded its optical fabrication department adding new equipment and handling a wider array of substrates. Controlling the entire process from substrate to finished coated optic helps maintain QTF quality standards. The QTF expertise includes polishing crystals to fabrication of laser optics and prisms. QTF’s crystal polishing operations insures the reliability of its highest damage threshold coatings while minimizing scatter, absorption, and adhesion issues. QTF’s laser crystal polishing operation is outstanding for turnaround time on reworked crystals.
Among the materials QTF fabricates and polishes are UVFS, BK-7,CaF2, Infrasil, YAG, YLF, YVO, KTP, LBO, Er:Glass, Phosphate Glass KTP, SFAP, ZnSe, Cleartran, GaAs, Ge, Si, and ZGP. QTF’s recently expanded optical fabrication department is experienced with MgF2, Lithiumnibate, Al2O3, QE/XR,Q98 and KGW.
